Ez, HI3R, will be active on EME only from November 28 to December 6, 2025. This first operation will focus on the 70 cm, 33 cm, and 23 cm bands, with 6 m EME also planned to be active.
This is a historic opportunity for the global SHF amateur radio community, as these bands have never before been activated from the Dominican Republic.
Ez, HI3R, sarà attivo solo in EME dal 28 novembre al 6 dicembre 2025. Questa prima operazione si concentrerà sulle bande dei 70 cm, 33 cm e 23 cm, con anche l’EME dei 6 m prevista come attiva. Si tratta di un’opportunità storica per la comunità radioamatoriale SHF globale, poiché queste bande non sono mai state attivate prima dalla Repubblica Dominicana.

The Erie Canal is a large artificial waterway in North America that connects the Hudson River, west of Albany, to Lake Ontario, northeast. Built between 1817 and 1825, it is about 584 km long, with a total of 36 locks and a total elevation change of 172 meters.

Il Canale Erie è una grande via d’acqua artificiale in Nord America che collega il fiume Hudson, a ovest di Albany, al Lago Ontario, a nord-est. Costruito tra il 1817 e il 1825,è lungo circa 584 km, conta un totale di 36 chiuse ed un dislivello totale di 172 metri.
In occasione sia del 130° anniversario dell’invenzione della radio, che i 100 anni della I.A.R.U, l’A.R.I. – Associazione Radioamatori Italiani – indice un diploma radioamatoriale denominato “Diploma 130-100” ovvero 130 anni di radio e 100 anni della I.A.R.U , nel periodo 15 settembre al 15 ottobre 2025
