On the occasion of the XX Edition of the Mediterranean Games 2026, under the patronage of National A.R.I., the patronage of the A.R.I. Regional Puglia Committee and the Patronage of the New Organizing Committee for the 20th Edition of the Taranto 2026 Mediterranean Games, the Section A.R.I. TARANTO “ANTONIO QUARANTA” – IQ7TA, announces the Radio Diploma “XX Mediterranean Games 2026 – Puglia On The Air”.

From 21 august to 3 september 2026 , HF (80m, *60m, 40m, 30m, 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m, 10m) and QO-100 , CW , SSB and Digital Modes.

2026: Rinnovo sperimentazione bande 160 metri, 40 e 70 MHz

Il Ministero delle Imprese e del Made in Italy (MIMIT) con protocollo n. 5536/2026 conferma del rinnovo delle sperimentazioni frequenziali nelle gamme 1810-1830 kHz, 40.660-40.700 MHz e 70.100-70.400 MHz.

Dal 31 luglio 2026 al 31 dicembre 2026.

4 metri (40.660-40.700 MHz), 8 metri (70-70.400 MHz) con 10 w max e l’estensione della banda dei 160 metri (1810-1830 KHz) in base secondaria.

The Unió de Radioaficionados Andorrans (URA) organizes EME activities in August , Joan C31US, Beli C31KC, Alex EA8DBM, Jack ON5OO, Gilbert ONJoan C31US, Beli C31KC, Alex EA8DBM, Jack ON5OO, Gilbert ON6QS, and Jean-Jacques ON7EQ are planning to be at C37EME from August 5th to 10th with the following schedule:

• August 5th, 11:30 PM to August 6th, 12:30 PM
• August 6th, 11:30 PM to August 7th, 2:00 PM
• August 8th, 12:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• August 9th, 1:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• August 10th, 2:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The activity is planned as EME.

L’Unió de Radioaficionados Andorrans (URA) organizza attività EME ad agosto , Joan C31US, Beli C31KC, Alex EA8DBM, Jack ON5OO, Gilbert ON6QS e Jean-Jacques ON7EQ prevedono di essere presso C37EME dal 5 al 10 agosto con il seguente programma:

• 5 agosto, dalle 23:30 al 6 agosto, alle 12:30
• 6 agosto, dalle 23:30 al 7 agosto, alle 14:00
• 8 agosto, dalle 00:30 alle 15:00
• 9 agosto, dalle 01:30 alle 16:00
• 10 agosto, dalle 02:30 alle 17:00. L’attività è prevista come EME.

The IP1X team  (IK1QBT, IK2QEI, IK1YDB, IU1LCU, IZ1LBG, IK1RQT)  will be active from Gallinara Island (EU-083) on 25-26 July 2026. He will operate CW and SSB from 10 to 80 mt, and will be active 24h during the RSGB IOTA Contest 2026, Multi-2 Low Power category. The island it’s also counts for Italian Island Award IIA ref. L-018.

Il team IP1X (IK1QBT, IK2QEI, IK1YDB, IU1LCU, IZ1LBG, IK1RQT) sarà attivo dall’isola di Gallinara (EU-083) il 25 e 26 luglio 2026.
Opererà in CW e SSB dalle bande 10-80 metri e sarà attivo 24 ore su 24 durante il RSGB IOTA Contest 2026, categoria Multi-2 Low Power.

WRTC UK 2026

WRTC 2026 – World Radiosport Team Championship: the event takes place
from July 8 to 13, with the contest running concurrently with the
IARU HF Championship on the 11th/12th. The teams, operating against
each other from identical setups, are located in the English
counties Suffolk, Norfolk, and Cambridgeshire.

WRTC 2026 – Campionato mondiale a squadre di radiosport, l’evento si svolge dall’8 al 13 luglio, in contemporanea con il Campionato HF IARU dell’11 e 12 luglio. Le squadre, che operano l’una contro l’altra con configurazioni identiche, si trovano nelle contee inglesi di Suffolk, Norfolk e Cambridgeshire.

DIPLOMA II1WA FASFAO – Fortificazioni Alpine Occidentali

La Sezione A.R.I. di Cuneo presenta nuovo Diploma Radioamatoriale “ASFAO – Fortificazioni Alpine Occidentali”, un’iniziativa nata dalla collaborazione con ASFAO-APS (Associazione per lo Studio delle Fortificazioni Alpine Occidentali), finalizzata a promuovere e valorizzare, attraverso l’attività radioamatoriale, il patrimonio storico e culturale rappresentato dalle opere fortificate delle Alpi Occidentali.

L’ evento si terrà dal 27 giugno al 6 luglio 2026 , sabato 4 e domenica 5 luglio opererà il nominativo speciale II1WAF dal Campo Storico di Chiusa di Pesio .

ZM Prefix

NEW ZELAND (NZART centenary )- The Radio Operator Certificate and Callsign Rules (PIB 46) document permits amateurs and club stations to use “ZM” rather than “ZL” as a prefix during commemorative events. NZART members are encouraged to use the ZM prefix during the 2026 year as a celebration of our centenary.

NUOVA ZELANDA ( NZART centenary ) – Il documento “Radio Operator Certificate and Callsign Rules” (PIB 46) consente ai radioamatori e alle stazioni dei club di utilizzare il prefisso “ZM” anziché “ZL” durante gli eventi commemorativi. I membri di NZART sono incoraggiati a utilizzare il prefisso ZM durante il 2026 per celebrare il nostro centenario.

Spain special prefix AM#14 , AN#14 and AO#14

Pope Leo XIV’s upcoming apostolic journey to Spain will be the first papal visit to the
country since 2011. To mark the event, Spanish amateurs are allowed to replace their normal
prefix from 6 to 12 June as follows: EA stations can use AM#14, EB stations can use AN#14 and
EC stations can use AO#14, where “#” is the digit of their call area.

L’imminente viaggio apostolico di Papa Leone XIV in Spagna sarà la prima visita papale al paese dal 2011. Per celebrare l’evento, i dilettanti spagnoli possono sostituire il loro normale prefisso dal 6 al 12 giugno come segue: le stazioni EA possono utilizzare AM#14, le stazioni EB possono utilizzare AN#14 e Le stazioni EC possono utilizzare AO#14, dove “#” è la cifra della loro area di chiamata.
